$1,000.00 cash prize awarded to First Place winner
$500.00 cash prize to Second Place winner
No entry fee
Maximum of ten drum corps permitted to enter; alternate spots will be held
WHEN:
Immediately following Winter Storm 2012 - The Pipes and Drums Concert
WHERE:
"Winter Steam" in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel.
A maximum of ten corps will be drawn to be in the contest. Draw will also determine order of play. Additional corps will be held in reserve in case of a scratch.
Rules
Fanfare Time limit: 6 minutes
Instrumentation: Percussion instruments only
Personnel: Minimum of six players, no maximum
Drum Corps Qualifications:
Each drum corps, with a minimum of six players, shall be comprised of Winter Storm 2012 students, competitors, instructors, adjudicators, sponsors, and advertisers. Any given individual may play with one drum corps only.
Mehod of selection of winners: Adjudication by an official Winter Storm judging panel. Panel TBA.
Selected corps, alternates, and the order of play will be posted at Winter Storm registration desk, Marriott Hotel, 2nd Floor, no later than 5 p.m. January 14, 2012
